My story
Growing up in New Zealand…
I began my career in graphic design, developing a love of typography, visual hierarchy and making information clear. As digital design evolved, I moved into web design and discovered something that changed the direction of my career, design could be more than something people looked at, it could be something they used.
That curiosity drew me towards UX and shifted my focus from how something looked to how it worked. I became fascinated by the problems behind the screen, understanding people’s needs, simplifying complex journeys and making technology easier to use.
Over time, that naturally grew into product design, where I could help shape an experience from the first idea through to delivery. The tools have evolved from print and the early web to Figma and AI-assisted prototyping, but the motivation remains the same, turning complex problems into clear, useful experiences.
